Hi,there! Welcome to impatient grace! I’m Amber Rex. I am so excited to start writing to encourage and walk alongside you and others. I was born and raised in North Carolina, where I still live with my wonder husband today!
Some FUN facts! I love being outside in nature. Want to hike, camp, kayak, I’ll be there! I enjoy spending time with friends and family, the more the merrier! Sunflowers are my absolute favorite! Also did someone say coffee, yes please! I am an Elementary School Teacher, where I need a lot of grace, which you will see through the blog! One Major thing you need to know about me, I’m far from perfect and not nearly enough in most cases, but……THAT’S OKAY! God’s got it covered and what I think of Him is way more important!
Where my Walk Started:
I became a Christian in the Summer of 2013, before my Senior Year in High School. I really started my walk with the Lord in College at East Carolina University. I joined a Campus ministry called CRU or Campus Crusade for Christ.
There, I grew through leading a bible study for Freshmen Young Ladies and being discipled by wise women of the Word! It was truly 4 amazing years being poured into and pouring out to others, which are both important. I am a journalor. I love to write about what the Lord is doing and notes about what I’m learning. I highly encourage it!! During these writings and the Lord putting a desire in my heart, I began to write posts on a small blog and which lead me to start what you see today!
